FAQ

What do I do if I need pastoral care?

If you or someone you care about is in need of a priest for a pastoral emergency you may call us any time of the day or night. If the office is closed you will be directed to call the senior warden or the priest on call.

Pastoral emergencies include crisis situations, critical health changes and hospitalizations, when death is near or at the time of death, or any time when you think you need a priest immediately.

Here are some needs that are not urgent or immediate: you can’t usher on Sunday, you are going to miss a meeting, you would like to make an appointment or have a visit in the coming week. Please call the office (401-737-3127) for non-urgent, but important communication. Or send us an email.

What are the office hours of the church and the clergy/staff?

The staff members are here to serve members, friends and guests of St. Mark’s.

Official office hours are 9:00 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday & Wednesday.

For clergy there are many times when we are working away from the church, visiting or at meetings. Please call ahead to make an appointment..

How do I get involved in ministries I’m interested in joining?

The easiest way to get started is to contact the ministry leader.

How do I have someone included in the Prayers of the People on Sunday?

You can call or e-mail the office with your request. The office number is 401-737-3127 and the email is office@stmarkswarwick.org

How do I get offering envelopes?

There are pledge cards on the table in the Narthex. Simply take one – prayerfully consider what for you is an appropriate thank offering to God who provides for us so abundantly, fill it in and return it to the office (mail, offering plate). Then look on that same table for your envelopes. If you have any questions about stewardship the rector will be happy to speak with you.
